Default Which SO Member Do You Most Look Up To and Which Are You Most Protective Of

Since Sitcoms Online is like a family, each of us probably has at least one member that we really look up to as well as one member that we are protective of.

The person I look up to most here is Sonny. Sonny is older than me and he always is a gentleman on the boards and treats eveyone with respect. I've always looked up to Sonny.

I feel really protective of Mattie. Since she is so much younger than me I often forget that she is 19 and is an adult who can take care of herself. As we've become closer she has become like a little sis, and I can't help but feel protective of her.

Wow, tough questions!! Well I couldn't pick just one that I most look up to, so I picked 3. Janice, Tara, and Cathie. Janice because she's my all time best friend here, and I love her strength, her straight forwardness, (although a bit intimidating at times, lol) her incredible tenacity in dealing with issues both on the board, and in her day to day life, as well as many other reasons. I pick Tara because I love her attitude. She's a kick ass and take names kind of person. She won't put up with anyone's crap, and will go down with a fight if need be. She's also one of the most thoughtful and caring people I've ever known, and I deeply admire her for that. I can easily go on forever about these ladies, but I'll keep it as brief as I can. And Cathie, ****, what can't I say about Cathie. I admire her for her incredibly brave battle with cancer, and other serious personal problems she's dealt with in her life, but mostly I respect her for her fighting spirit, and amazing attitude through it all. Do you know that in the time that I've been back here, I haven't once heard Cathie complain about her situation?? You know how amazing that is?? While some people post how distraught they are over having a rough day, Cathie's managed to stay funny, and keep her humor through cancer. That will never cease to amaze me, and my respect has grown for her 1000 fold after that.

As far as who I'm most protective over, I'd have to go with Mattie. Although she's a very responsible person who can easily take care of herself, I sometimes worry about people trying to maybe take advantage of her kindness, and genorosity. She has become such a good friend, and so quickly, and if anybody messed with her in a wrong way, if they lived close to me they'd get one good ass whooping, and if they lived far away, they'd get one good tongue lashing. Nobody messes with my Mattie!!!

There is not any member that I look up to (per se) everyone here has something that I respect; as far as being protective of. I will always stand up for any member, whom, I think deserves my protection...

I really like everyone here and have no enemies at S.O., but my heart will always belong to Lauren (Lulu Rogers) and Chelsea (Heart Shaped Box, who no longer posts here anymore ). They are two of the first people I met on this board (along with "I Love John Ritter," who sent me some awesome Three's Company tapes back in the day!), and I still keep in touch with them via email, facebook, myspace, AIM, etc. Lauren and I used to have fun chatting on yahoo (lol), and Chelsea used to be my writing buddy (we'd co-author some Three's Company fics together). All three of us had an undying obsession for John Ritter back in 2005 when I first registered here, so it was fun to have some gals to talk to about him and the show. Good times.

You're welcome Tara, and I don't care how mushy this is, but I love you too, more than you could ever know. As far as making you smile goes, I'm glad, I owed you one, because you make me smile all the time!!

I look up to Janice, she's become like a mother to me. Tara is my best friend in the whole world, I love how she's comfortable with who she is and makes no bones about it. Cathie is like a super hero to me, the way she dealt with her brain tumor was just unreal, she's one in a million.

I feel protective of my younger girlies, Ashlee, Sarah and Courtnee. They're great girls and if anyone messes with them they have to answer to me!
