Chevy Citation - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Did anyone here used to own this car from the '80s? A relative of mine owned one years ago, but it broke down.

My dad was a mechanic (or he worked in the service department anyway) at a Chevy dealer back then. I'm thinking those are the cars that, when one came in, they'd play or sing "Another One Bites the Dust" because they were such junk. I can't remember now what he said the problem was, but they were built wrong in the first place. A real winner there.

Haha, the Citation was my brother's first car when he started driving in 1996. I think he only had it for a year or two - he for sure had a Toyota Camry no later than 1998. I don't remember what happened to it anymore- I think it got totaled.
