The outrageous Cohen, promoting his upcoming movie "Bruno" in which the British actor plays a gay Austrian fashionista, who brought the house down.

Sweeping high above the studio on a harness, Cohen hit an obstacle, spun down toward the audience and landed face down in the lap of Eminem, exposing his naked bottom to both the white rapper and to millions of viewers watching the awards show live on television.

MTV said Eminem stormed out "in a heated rage" after the incident at the Gibson Amphitheatre near Los Angeles where the live awards show was taking place.

I love it when a celeb takes themselves WAY too seriously! Looks good on him!

(meanwhile, isn't this latest Cohen character a direct ripoff from a guy that was in America's Got Talent a couple of years ago? Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up suing Cohen for it).

i'm never nitpicky about these things, but i really think it was staged. it was all too precise and perfectly done to be an accident.

This is another character from Da Ali G Show like Borat was, so its from 2004

I agree with Sarah. It definately looks to me like Em was in on this whole thing. In fact I bet he enjoyed it.

If this stunt was staged (and it probably was) I give Eminem credit for trying to have fun at his own expense. That guy is takes himself way too seriously, IMO.

well I heard that eminem was trying to make a comeback, so its good that he at least got some "face time" on the show.

Sarah is right, it was staged. But this is the funny part. It was staged, but staged so that Cohen would get on the harness and land on Eminem's lap, but instead MTV and Sasha made it into a personal prank & joke on Em, and instead landed on his face ROFL.

And did everybody know, the original target was going to be Paris Hilton but she declined to take part in it, so Em was the culprit lol.

That sh*t was hilarious though, and I'm a big fan of Em. I know Ardis was happy to see that happen, with all the Mariah Carey sh*t he's been saying, ex. "Bagpipes From Baghdad" off his new album....But that was great.

I didn't hear what Sasha said when he came down, but this is apparently what was mostly said during the incident.

Sasha "Eminem, nice to meet you"
Eminem "Are You Serious???" Curses & expletives follow
Sasha "Don’t touch me guys, I’ve already got a boyfriend! Is this the real Slim Shady about to stand up?”

i missed it initially, but watched the replay of the taping of the awards later on, on MTV & started cracking up...

Ali G did have his own tv show & was in the Madonna "Music" music video as well.
