Woman reported magpie - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I read the new s today here. Here in Sweden a woman called the police and reporded a magpie for stealing her mobile phone. It had it in the mouth and flew away. Ok, we've heard that they can be called "thiefs", but seriously, I would rather buy a new phone than report an animal.

LOL, what did she expect the police to do? Put out an APB? Chances are that bird dropped the phone somewhere and it broke in a million pieces. People can be so silly sometimes.

I think there must be a connection between this Magpie and the parrot in New Zealand that stole a passport. I think they were trained by that international terrorist organization KAOS. But don't worry. I'm sure Maxwell Smart will put an end to this! (in spite of himself!)

Hahaha. Yeah, well, the police couldn't do anything. And what could they possible do? They couldn't put a bird in jail.

the first thing she should have done would have been to call her cell phone

i would'nt have gotten worried or called the police UNTIL the bird answered it.
