Hello everybody

I became a fan of The Patty Duke Show during its run on Nick at Nite. It had literally been years since I had seen an episode until a few months ago when I stumbled across the show on THIS network. Well, I wasn't really expecting it but I got hooked all over again! Not just on TPDS but also on Patty's career in general.

I've spent the past few months recording TPDS onto DVD and dubbing some of my old VHS tapes of Patty onto DVD. I figured that I'd better do it now before VHS disappears for good! I've also scanned a bunch of my old magazine articles and decided to put them all in a Yahoo Group I created in honor of Patty and her career. The link is in my sig.

It's great to find this forum for TPDS and I hope to be an upstanding member of this community.

Wow, No wonder you're so excited for this release! By the way, Patty Duke seems like a remarkable woman, let alone actress. I know she has overcome alot of personal obstacles in her life.

It would be great to see her involved in the DVD release. I think it would be neat to have her pick an episode and do an audio commentary for it. Or they could have a poll on their website and ask the fans which episode they would like to see with commentary. Or both.

Hi Jude,

I have read Call Me Anna, but it was quite a while ago. I'm actually a little tempted to read it again... (geez, I used to read a lot of books, but now all of my reading is done on the internet. I'm still not sure if that's a good thing.

you sound like me.......been so long since i picked up a book for a good read. I read magazines daily and of course, the net.
