I heard on my local Los Angeles news radio this morning that there were people lining up for this final taping since yesterday afternoon. Some people even came in from New Zealand just to see the show.

One local man was the first in line; he had been at Jay's first show and had his ticket stub with him from that time. I would hope that he was chosen to be in tonight's audience.

Not too long ago I had a cup of coffee so that I will be able to stay awake for it. I'm looking forward to watching Conan's appearance.

Definitely. I might just be balling my eyes out by the end of the show. This summer is really going to be different without Jay, that's for sure. I just can't believe how fast this day has come.

I've watched Jay almost every night since I was a sophomore in high school - since early 1996!! I still think NBC is making a huge mistake...it'll be a long 4 months until Jay's new show starts...at least it's something.

This is definitely a mistake by NBC. 17 years and this is how NBC treats Leno? While 10pm may sound good, we all know just how bad it'll probably turn out. And Conan on the Tonight Show? All I know is that things are going to very different from now on.

Loving James Taylor - he added the perfect mood to the last show I thought. Can't wait to see withat this final surprise is going to be.

That guy in the audience who went to the last Carson Show, The first Leno Show, and Last Leno Show, probably had no intentions on going to Conan's first show which is why he gave him tickets for Monday Show's-lol
