Blossom's Mayim Bialik: I Needed a Makeover!

Actress Mayim Bialik happily admits that, after giving birth to two children, keeping up with trends is not high on her list.

"My main priority in life are my kids," says Bialik, 33, who has sons Miles, 3 1/2, and Frederick, 9 months, with husband Michael Stone. "I'm frugal, I don't have time to shop and I'm usually wearing clothes three sizes too big. It's not a priority for me to be a sexpot because kids don't care!"

So when Stacy London and Clinton Kelly, the hosts of TLC's makeover show What Not to Wear asked the actress to participate in their show, "I said yes!" says Bialik. "I clearly needed help."

Despite a few restrictions – the hosts learned Bialik does not wear pants or leather – the results were "really great," says the actress, who will reveal her new look in the season premiere on Friday at 9 p.m.

But despite her new, trendier look, Bialik is still the same hands-on mom. The actress and her husband practice Dr. Sears's theory of attachment parenting, and are raising their boys without the help of a nanny or childcare. "It takes over your world," she says. "We're always tired! But it's the most rewarding job I've ever had."

She reveals her son Miles recently started using "big words like 'accidentally' and 'hippopotamus'." And she says Frederick "is really mellow and weights 23 lbs!"

As for more kids? "Right now, I think we're maxed out," says the actress, who will next appear on an episode of TNT's Saving Grace in July. "I'm very happy with my boys."

Wow, hard to believe she's 33! She looks great and it seems like she's very down to earth. She still looks a lot like she did back when she was on Blossom!
