I would do a full season, and more if the WB lets me 0 0%
I would do a full season with story arcs designed to stop after season 9 1 20.00%
I would do 13 episodes & a limited story arc, it ws in decline some 0 0%
I'd do a one hour movie to give it a proper ending, that's all 3 60.00%
I'd sign preformers who don't want a full season to 6 eps., film scenes for several at once 1 20.00%
I'd hire someone similar to replace performer(s) for all season, boldly facing fans' wrath 0 0%
I'd kill Jesse off if John wouldn't do every ep., as his absence isn't easily explained 0 0%
I'd split Olsens, make one a teammate, let it explain their absence from a few eps. 1 20.00%
I'd rely mostly on existing regulars & their friends, regardless of who left 1 20.00%
I'd use Steve a lot as sitter, etc., leading to finale w/his engaged or marrying D.J. 1 20.00%
I'd introduce new recurring/regular characters, as new love interests, etc. are possible 1 20.00%
I'd do like the Cosby Show's last season & have eps w/only 2-3 regulars in it 1 20.00%
Id' rely on flashbacks to days w/Pam, wilder Jesse to fill void at times 0 0%

Default You're the WB and producers - how do you handle Season 9?

I just put up a new season 9 fic http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3364045/...Have_Christmas which excludes a few characters, one save for a short scene at the end. It's tougher than one thinks when several people people plan on leaving, as I've read we had the performers who play D.J. and Kimmy leaving for college, the one who played Jesse leaving for other projects, and the Olsens would have clearly been busier, too, though they could be around for more than a couple.

In this thought experiment, I'm hedging a bit, so it might be cheating a touch, but here's what you know:

1. You can convince John Stamos to come and do 2-3 episodes, or portions of a few. But, he won't devote full time to it. Candace and Andrea can do maybe 1-2 at the start, and a finale, but perhaps nothing in between, or only 1-2. (Indeed, I wouldn't have had to have them here. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4102864/...g_for_the_Gold)

2. You can decide to do 13 episodes or a full season. Or, nothing except a one hour movie that wraps things up.

You can bring in other characters, as long as you keep the wholesome "Full House" image, of course.

My idea is that Jesse, D.J., and Kimmy would each have 6 episodes, though in some only a scene or two. Michelle, I don't know, more than 6 but with their schedule probably not all. Since I liked "The Cosby Show," I'd probably adopt their way of not including every character in every episode, but that's just me.

I'd also introduce new characters - a widwo and her kids for Joey to get close to, a new friend or two (if they split the Olsens, one of them becomes a teammate on Michelle's soccer team, and a good reason to have Michelle gone; indeed, Jesse can be the main chaperone for them.) A steady boy for Stephanie, though more friends than real close since she's younger.

So, cast your votes (once I get this poll up :-) - people complain it ended too soon, but now it's in your court.
