This is a weird subject, but lets talk about it anyway. When someone you knew (who you didnt like) passed way, have you felt relieved? My moms old boyfriend was a complete JERK! When he passed away 5 years ago, I felt sorry for my mom because she lost someone she loved, but deep inside of me, I felt relieved that he was finally gone because of his personality and rotten attitude. I would never tell my mom this, because I would never hurt her feelings.

Now I'm not downing nursing homes at all, I'm sure most of them are very fine ones. As you get older though, and as your parents get older, just trying to face the reality that this is going to happen eventually, with having to deal with aging parents. It's a fact of life that it's really hard to deal with. |

There is a person who screwed my husband so bad, out of his retirement actually, that if this person were to drop dead today, I think I'd do the Toyota jump. I know, Karma and all that; however, this person is sheer evil. I wouldn't go as far as to say that I wish this person dead, but if I got the news, it would make my year. This is the only person who I actually HATE with a passion. I'm not a hater, even for celebs, etc. I do hate this person.

I realize how awful this may sound, but since you brought up the subject, I am going to say it... I was so happy when my grandmother finally died. She was just a miserable, rotten, nasty human being. She lived the last year of her life with us and it was a living Hell. All she did was cause problems and give my mom (her daughter-in-law) a hard time.

Actually, there was one woman who went to my church when I was younger, she was a bit snobbish and thought she was so much better than all of us. I didn't really care for her. A few years later, she was killed in a car accident. When I found out, I wasn't the least bit sorrowful. I was more sad for her kids who went to school with my sister. Geez, now this makes me out to be so unfeeling!! |

It made me so depressed. She was awful. I remember after I vented here, one poster (Whom I won't name, but they're not here anymore.) had the nerve to criticize me and tell me I shouldn't feel that way about her. That really upset me back then. Did they have to live with that witch?

There is one person that I've known, but don't talk to anymore, who if they were to die tomorrow, I wouldn't be upset about it. I don't wish death upon them, however, I wouldn't be affected by their death. Sometimes I wonder if that's mean, but I gave this person way too many chances, and all they did was hurt me every time. There came a time for me to just stand up for myself and realize that they were never going to change, no matter how badly I wanted them to. I cared about them once, but now...it wouldn't phase me if they died.

I have a relative whom I have hated for several years now. He's a worthless moocher who hates my mother and tries to tell lies to get everyone on his miserable side. I've said it once, I'll say it again...if he died, I wouldn't feel one bit sad. It would be a relief not having him breathing air that a better person should have. He's always throwing himself pity parties and bitching about not wanting to have been born anyway. UGH.
Yeah, I'll go to hell, but whatever. |

I had a friend in high school whose father abused her and her mother. When she was 17 her mother filed for divorce. The father was threating to take all of the money, property belongings that the mother had. Well about three days before the divorce was to be final my friend's dad died of a sudden heart attack. I was sort of relieved because he wouldn't be able to continue to hurt my friend and her mom.
I don't wish death on people but there are few people in my life whose deaths wouldn't really upset me. |

If the girl who raped me dropped dead I would throw a party.
I feel the same way about the people in Iraq who planted the roadside bomb that killed my cousin Jamie. I hope they burn in hell for all eternity. ![]() I'm not the type of person who holds a grudge or hates people, in fact, I'm really a very loving and forgiving person, but even I have limits. |
