Default Where Have You Lodged At For Vacation/Travel?

Just wanted to see where others have stayed at when they went about traveling.

In the poll are the various lodging types that I can think of. Answer all of the places you have stayed at and if you think of more please add.

From that list, the only one would be a hotel right now.

Camping, I haven't camped since I was a kid, which we used to do all the time.

Back when I was younger, when I didn't have alot of money, I stayed at Motel6.

Mostly hotels, usually suite types. I don't like camping and "roughing it." I'm spoiled.

Motels can have multiple floors. I think they tend to be cheaper and are close to highways. They also usually have the parking lot right there by the doors whereas hotels usually have lobbies and long hallways.

Well, when you arrive at your destinations, sure. But in between, it's often staying at motels, whether it's a chain or an independent one. Believe it or not, many still exist.

Hotels are usually more expensive and provide more amenities than a motel. A smaller hotel is referred to as an Inn.

Hotels are typically for people with a longer stay and motels are usually for those who want 1 or 2 nights to crash while they travel. Some people also use motel rooms for ...

Most hotels usually offer bellhops, room service, laundry/dry cleaning, restaurants, beds with fancier furnishings, pools, shuttle services to/from certain locations for guests..

Motels provide guests the basics... bed, dresser, television, and basic toiletries. The only food you might have on site are vending and ice machines. Some motels have pools.

I wonder if there are any motels/Hotels left with CRT TVs??

I found an abandoned motel near me and in Room 10 there is a beautiful console set... I dunno if it still works.... The ceiling is intact in room 10 and its dry in there.........
