Yeah, the way SBS ended was a shame. They should have ended it with Dana and Rich getting married or something like that.

The ones mentioned were really good. I also liked the one where Carol and Bobby broke up on Growing Pains. They were going to elope and at the last minute, decided not to. Then at the end of the episode, Carol sees Mike and runs into his arms. Such a sweet episode. They never showed much of Mike and Carol hugging, much less being civil toward each other.

The last scene of Family Ties when Alex starts to leave and then turns around, goes over to his family and says "I really love you guys" and they all hug.

Growing Pains; when Mike goes to a party where everyone is doing drugs. Boner and Eddie want to go into the bathroom and do cocaine, but Mike leaves, and then has to tell his dad. I loved that episode. That might be my all time favorite Growing Pains one.

I'm not reading anyone else's responses before I answer, so as not to influence my own reply, but...great question.

Here's a few

1) Archie and Edith's farewell to Mike and Gloria, particularly the Archie/Mike goodbye.

2) The final "Mary Tyler Moore" episode.

3) The final "MASH"

4) Archie mourning Edith in the first episode of "Archie Bunker's Place".

5) The tribute to Yemana on "Barney Miller".

6) The episode where Jessica tells her sister about her fatal illness on "Soap".

Good Times- After James' funeral, while the rest of the family was mourning, Florida didn't act sad and wouldn't cry. After all the guests left she went into the kitchen, paused , threw a dish on the floor, and finally broke down. The kids came running and threw their arms around her.

What mad this episode so touching for me was after Mike and Gloria left Archie sat in his chair wiping his tears and Edith seen this from the Kitchen door and let him finished and announced she had his beer.

Mary Tyler Moore - The Last Show

Bewitched - A is for Aardvark: there's a really touching scene at the end, unique for a show like that that will occassionally make me tear up

The Office - Casino Night: doesn't make me cry but when Jim talks to Pam at the end, I get a knot in my stomach
