Hotel For Dogs

Last night I watched the "Hotel for Dogs" movie on DVD. Has anyone reading this post seen that movie? The first thing that I would like to point out is that Hollywood really mangeled the movie by Lois Duncun that was written in the early seventies! But it is like that with a lot of books made into movies. More important, I thought that this show's Lisa Kudrow played a very different part than she usually plays! In this movie, she and her husband were very mean foster parents to two helpless children! In "Friends" the character of Pheobe was that of a very decent, peace-loving, animal-loving babe. In this story she could not have been more different! Even before she played Pheobe Buffet, she played Urcela Buffet the waitress at Riff's. Even in this role, although she was a complete air-head, she was quite likable. And in my favorite role of her's ever on "Marci X", she played a very decent lady who was very involved in her synogouge and very willing to help people less fortunate then heself. What a change in character!
