Former Spice Girls star Melanie Brown is to host a new TV talent show to find the next big girl band.

Bosses at VH1 are putting the show together and are lining up the "Wannabe" singer to help search for the stars of the future.

Brown, currently appearing in Las Vegas burlesque act Peepshow, says, "It's going to be a real chance to find some edgy raw talents and watch it unfold as part of the show."

And Brown has ruled out ever quitting her new career for another lucrative Spice Girls reunion: "It wasn't about money for us - it was about going out on top where we finished."
