Watching the Flintstones on Comcast and I never ever seen the opening without the song. This opening was just a opening tune and involved Fred going to work and punching in. Guess I never saw these episodes air on my local station in Philly

Me either it was always the song with words. When I bought the first and second season and heard the opening I thought the one I know had been replaced.

The original theme song was "Rise and Shine" and was issued, on the flip side
of a Little Golden Record of "Meet the Flintstones" (the more familiar theme). I think they only used that opening the first season. |

I haven't watched the Flintstones in forever! I miss that show! I remember the opening theme with him going to work, but I didn't know it wasn't the original. Cool info!

the opening with the "RISE N' SHINE" theme song hadn't been seen in years until The Cartoon Network started showing it sometime in the 90s-93 I think.
