Here is a new topic...British stars who appeared on American television. Hugh Laurie of HOUSE fame appeared on FRIENDS as the ignorant man who told off Rachel on her trip to London. Jennifer Saunders appeared on Roseanne as well with her partner in crime.. Patsy. Jennifer also had a major role in the LOndon eps as Emily's stepmother who lusted after Ross. The housekeeper of the Waltham house also had been on Ab Fab as well. John Cleese of Monty Python fame also was Karen's husband on Will and Grace, the father of Minnie Driver.

John Cleese also appeared on an episode of Cheers. Eric Idle from Monty Python was a regular on the last season(s) of Suddenly Susan. Ricky Gervais who starred on the British version of The Office made an appearance on the American version.
