I think it was in the second season ep because Mash was made by 20th Century Fox and so was The Planet of the Apes films (a couple starring Charlton Heston). It was around the release of Apes film five this Mash ep was made!

Funny thing. Some wonder if actors Rogers and Alda actually had the ape masks on. We at no time see them put the masks on over their heads. Some fans truly wonder if two extras didn't play the aped doctors or if it was Alda and Rogers masked but that they both dubbed in their lines their characters speak while masked after the ep was filmed.

Charlton Heston didn't star in "a couple" of the films, just the first. He had a small role in the second one, but that was all.

Tough call but I've always thought it was them in the suits. Their antics just seemed too Alda / Rogers not to be and this was a show on a budget due to ratings with little room for stunt men.

HUH!?!If Heston appeared in two POTA films then he starred in a couple of them! Besides, his role in film two was significant!
