Crazy Kanye West Says Jay-Z is the New Frank Sinatra

Kanye West clearly likes to think of himself as a tastemaker. Just check out the amount of gadgets, musicians and fashion lines his minions profile on his blog. West occasionally uses the blog to provide the world with rambling insight into his mind, and has recently typed out a strange entry regarding a paparazzi photograph of Rihanna.

“Yo why can’t all paparazzi photos be this good?” asks West, in his usual headache inducing all-caps style. He then proceeds to deliver a critique of common techniques used by paparazzi photographers (“sometimes the paps overexpose the lens or have the flash too high”) before delivering a comparison between our current crop of biggest stars and figures from music history.

This is how West sees the current music world shaping up:

Justin Timberlake is the new Michael Jackson
Beyonce is the new Tina Turner
Lady Gaga is Madonna
Jay-Z is Frank Sinatra
Lil Wayne is Jimi Hendrix
Thom Yorke is Roger Waters

Timberlake/Jackson is a good (if somewhat obvious) call, and Gaga needs to make a few more albums before reaching Madonna’s stature. Jay-Z as Frank Sinatra is an interesting choice, with West clearly alluding to the “Rap Pack” performance at the Grammy’s earlier this year. Lil Wayne as Jimi Hendrix is the strangest choice, but perhaps West is just trying to give Weezy a boost after the delays that have beset his rock album, Rebirth. And Thom Yorke as Roger Waters? Yorke might not like the comparison, but it’s not the first time parallels between Radiohead and Pink Floyd have been drawn.

Wow! I don't listen to any of those new ones on that list. But I do listen to Madonna, Michael Jackson, Roger Waters and Tina Turner

What pics of Rhianna is this genius referring to?
Is he talking about the pcs of a battered and bruised Rhianna after she was beaten?
Is he saying those pics were altered?

Careful Kanye. I know it's reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaly hard for you, but maybe you should keep your mouthg shut.

What i said isn't harsh LOL. I can't stand Kanye. He's always running his mouth and his opinion about music is wack. He's a crybaby too.
