Default Denver goes toe to toe with Lakers and win 106-103 to tie series at 1-1

It was looking like the Lakers would dominate early but the nuggets came back and took game 2 and now will go home to denver and go up 3-1

You REALLY think the Lakers won't win in Denver?

If Orlando could win in Cleveland, then surely L.A. can beat Denver in the Pepsi Center.

This is what bothers me- you act as if the Cavs and Lakers shouldn't even play games 3 and 4- you're practically declaring the Magic and Nuggets victors.

I think the Nuggets have a better chance of going up 3-1 than the Magic

Talk about jumping to conclusions.

Denver doesn't rely on the three and have balance on the offensive end. They have big men who can score down low and guards who can hit open jumpshots or three pointers. Orlando on the otherhand has to make all their jumpshots in order to win

That is good info.

BTW, I don't have a problem with you saying Denver can win game 3, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

I look at a playoff series one game at a time.

They are pretty even though and I think whoever wins this series will be the 2009 NBA champions. Cavs or Magic are no match for LA or Denver

Denver and Lakers are the Pats and Colts of the NBA

I'll remember this line a month from now. Let's see how good you are at predicting the basketball future.

The Cavs don't know how to handle playing a eam that is good now since they breeze through rounds 1 and 2. I knew that when they fell they could fall hard

Solomon, relax. At best Denver will just take one game in Denver. You better believe Lakers will take at least one there. This series is going 7 and the Lakers WILL prevail. And comparing the Denver Nuggets to the Patriots?? Since when has the Nuggets ever won a championship in this era?? That is the most craziest comparison I have ever seen. I hope you were joking.

Cavs and Lakers - the dream NBA match-up. Everyone is rooting for that. The NBA and ABC especially. It would be a fun series with two megastars in Kobe and LeBron. You know that would be great for the NBA rather than Carmelo and Howard.

The Nuggets are the Colts and the Lakers are the Pats. And I agree that Kobe or Lebron has to reach the finals for ratings to be good. If neither make it then that would be a disappointment.

So it has to be either

Dwight vs Kobe
OR
Carmello vs Lebron
