Would anyone like to kick around some theories as to why "True Colors" did not last?

True Colors was not the first attempt after the Brady Bunch to revive the blended family show--there wasNBC's "Brand New Life" with Barbara Eden and Don Murray, "Family Tree" also on NBC, was a drama that involved a second marriage and bringing in siblings from previous marriages--that one had Martin Hewett and James Spader as two of the step brothers.

There was also "Step By Step" which was part of ABC's TGIF line-up.

Which show are you referring to? "True Colors"? it is strange that TV One hasn't picked this up for reruns, they love to run obscure, short lived sitcoms.

I was referring to "Step By Step" which I wanted to add to my Netflix queue.

Only a sampler of six episodes seems to be available on Amazon.

I will say that it doesn't appear to have done very well in syndication. There are adults who never heard of it.
