What, no Futurama? As Bender would say, "Bite my shiny, metal @$$!"

Nice to see some 60's shows on the list, but no Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea, Time Tunnel or Lost In Space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What gives

The big outrage is that The Twilight Zone should have been number one.

Totally agree about Futurama.

Here's the strongest of my (many!) jaw dropping moments when looking this list over.

Highlander higher on the list than Dark Shadows?? Quantum Leap over The Outer Limits? The Dead Zone higher than Babylon 5?????? Firefly...at all? Battlestar Galactica over Lost, ST:TOS and XFiles???? And I've never seen the rabid appeal of ST:TNG. It's a ...solid...sci fi show, but not nearly as densely characterized as DS9 or as revolutionary as TOS. It's just sort of antiseptic and pleasant imho. Certainly shouldn't be # 3 on this list.

Dr. Who #1? Err...no.

Star Trek TNG over TOS? LOL who makes these crappy lists up anyway. Lost shouldn't even be on there.

#22!

I would have put it higher, but making the list is better than nothing at all.

TNG generally ranks higher on lists than TOS. What I want to know is where is DS9?

I think it did very well to make it to second place. Even though I'm huge fan of this show, I have never considered it to be a science fiction series. There were some elements of sci-fi during the show's run but it was more of a fantasy/anthology series than anything else. If we're talking about true sci-fi series' then based on that list, I would put the original Outer Limits at #1.

Cool

Personally I like Voyager better than DS9 but it didn't make the list either.

Famed, award-winning science-fiction author and critic Harlan Ellison would disagree with you. He has called Dr. Who 'The Greatest Science-Fiction Epic EVER.'

His opinion is just that, An opinion only. Just because he thinks it's the greatest sci-fi series ever doesn't make it so.
