Default Classic movie stars of old Hollywood guest starring in shows...

I could name a couple:

Bette Davis in Gunsmoke, Perry Mason, Wagon Train, The Virginian, The DuPont Show with June Allyson, It Takes A Theif, and Hotel

Joan Crawford in The Lucy Show, The Secret Storm, Route 66, The Virginian, and The Sixth Sense.

Speaking of Joan Crawford, she infamously filled in for her daughter Christina on the daytime soap The Secret Storm. It was a disaster!

Margaret Hamilton ("The Wizard of Oz") guested on The Addams Family.

Lou Costello gave his last performance, in a rare dramatic role, on a segment
of Wagon Train.

I Love Lucy - When the Ricardos went to Hollywood, I think everyone guest starred. I remember Harpo Marx, Robert Cummings, John Wayne, William Holden, and I'm sure there's a ton I'm forgetting.

The Twilight Zone got tons of them - every one from Buster Keaton to Charles Bronson.

Gilligan's Island got Zza Zza Gabor, Don Rickles, and a very young Kurt Russell.

Columbo also had a bunch. I haven't seen that many episodes, but I remember Anne Baxter, Leslie Nielsen, Mel Ferrar and Jamie Lee Curtis.

And then there's Vincent Price, who guest-starred on I think every show they made in the 60s. He was on F Troop, Get Smart, Batman, The Brady Bunch, etc.

Many of the classic stars (as well of the stars of the day) guested on The Muppet Show. Included were the aforementioned Vincent Price, also Bob Hope, Julie Andrews, etc.

Many classic stars of yester year made appearances on the Batman tv show. Stars such as Milton Berl, Zza Zza Gabor, Victor Buono, Ceasar Romero, Ann Baxter, Vincent Price, etc.

June Lockhart guest starred on Roseanne, she counts as old Hollywood star as she was in the She wolf movie of the 30's.

I don't remember the She wolf movies, but I do remember June Lockhart from 1944's Meet Me in St Louis. That's definately a classic. Also, Roseanne had quite a few Oscar winners: Red Buttons, Shelley Winters, and Estelle Parsons. I seem to remember Tony Curtis showing up there too.

The Nanny also had a bunch: Donald O'Conner, Steve & Eydie, Cloris Leachman, Rita Moreno, Milton Berle, Elizabeth Taylor, and John Astin.

All in the Family had Betty Garrett, Sammy Davis, Jr, Janis Paige, and (I believe) Lena Horne.

Murder She Wrote had a ton - I remember seeing Margaret O'Brien, Shirley Jones, Gloria DeHaven, Van Johnson, Vera Miles, Anne Francis, Roddy McDowall...

Debbie Reynolds played Grace's mother on Will and Grace. Suzanne Pleshette played Karen's con woman mom also on that show too. Gene Wilder played Will's boss as well. Orson Welles in his final film appearance was on Moonlighting to introduce the famous The Dream Sequence Always Rings Twice. Some other ones include Elliot Gould (Friends), Sydney Pollack (Will and Grace), Terri Garr (Friends)
