Robin Williams is returning to the road this fall to resume his Weapons of Self-Destruction and Reconstruction comedy tour after he postponed dates in March to undergo heart surgery.

The actor, 57, who is set to make his first public appearance Wednesday on The Late Show with David Letterman, underwent more than three hours of heart surgery to replace his aortic valve, repair his mitral valve and correct his irregular heartbeat.
