Default ThomasE it was four reasons why this show was not a Success

1. Mother was Unpleasant

2. Mother constantly put her Son and his friends down

3.Mother was not easy on the Eyes

4.Clifton was a STIFF

That sums it up-lol

I know that I am not Thomas But... The mother not easy on the eyes???? What does that have to do with anything? She was a sweet lady in my opinion.

Hell, you watched Weezie walk around in a night gown and in a bathing suit. Also Mama had her funny moments. Just say you did not like the show and keep it movin'

Isabel was not always pleasant on The Jeffersons. I am not going to continue with the whole attractive thing because I do not watch a sitcom based on a person’s looks. If I were to do that, I would have missed out on a lot of great TV shows.

Mama had her funny moments, I thought that she was a sweet woman. She had every right to put down Clifton’s friends because they weren't worth much and they were in her house. I don't think that Clifton was stiff I believe that he stayed himself throughout the whole show, he was more mature than the rest of the men on the show.

I thought the episode that you were talking about was when Clifton's cousin comes to visit. But when I looked at it she didn't call him a failure. So what was the episode about where she calls him a failure?

When she was asking why he didn't turn out like some guy who had a nice car and nice job. If my mom said that me I would have quickly ran to disrespectful avenue-lol

Well I just looked at the episode where Clifton said that he didn't know if he believed in God and she didn't call him a failure in that episode.

Do you remember what the plot of the episode was about?
