Veteran talk show producer Daniel Kellison is taking the reins of "The Bonnie Hunt Show."

Kellison, who helped launch the syndicated daytime talk show last year as an executive consultant, has been named executive producer for the show's upcoming second season.

He replaces "Bonnie Hunt's" showrunner David Perler. On the Telepictures-produced strip, Kellison joins exec producers Hunt, Don Lake and Jim Paratore.

"Daniel has a proven track record in daytime and late-night and a shared sensibility with Bonnie, whose authenticity, relatability and spontaneous humor will create a winning combination for our sophomore season," said Telepictures Prods. president Hilary Estey McLoughlin.

In his career, Kellison has alternated between daytime and late-night. After an eight-year stint on "Late Night" and "Late Show With David Letterman," he co-created and executive produced Telepictures' daytime talker "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." Kellison also served as producer, writer and co-creator of Comedy Central's "The Man Show" and of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Jackhole Industries, Kellison's production company with Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla, continues to produce "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
