AES Hudson Street - starring the one and only Gregory Sierra.
It would be great (yet HIGHLY unlikely) to see it get an official DVD release, since it only ran 5 episodes in 1978. But it would be so great to have extras - including some input from its star.

There has to be some way that the studios can make these rare shows available to us fans. What a waste to hold them forever in a vault without ever using them again. Surely, there is something they can do and turn a profit from it. I think they are underestimating their value.

I think it is still possible for Checking In to get a release on a Jeffersons DVD set (as an extra). It was only 4 episodes - so maybe it can have its own disc on a Jeffersons set. We can dream, can't we??

You never know what the future holds. Smore Entertainmant released Good Morning World (1967-68) and Lotsa Luck (1973-74) both 1 season shows. I wish this company would put out more rare shows like this.
