Default Yo GarfieldKool, LL Cool J's Music The Last 4 Albums Has Been Soft

What happened to this dude? His albums back in the day were hard. I can't say that for the last 4 albums he's done and Phenomenon album. His last 4 albums are Ten, The Definiton, Todd Smith, Exit 13. Ten and Exit 13 are the only albums outta the 4 i've heard and they're both wack. LL used to be hardcore. I don't know what happened to him and what made him decide to do wack music. He's always done songs for the ladies but he's done songs for men too but it seems he doesn't like doing hardcore music anymore. His lyrics are still good but his beats aren't hard anymore. I hope Exit 13 is his last album. Did you know he got mad that Jessica Simpson's album sold more than Exit 13 the first week? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I think he got mad at Def Jam because he felt the album wasn't promoted well but what did he expect? Nobody was gonna buy his album when he had that wack ass song as his first single. I think his first single was called Baby and it was a club joint for the ladies. He also was mad at Jay-Z when Jay-Z used to work for Def Jam as president when LL's Todd Smith album was out because he didn't like the fact that Todd Smith wasn't promoted. I knew that album wasn't gonna sell when i saw the wack guest appearances on there and his first single was wack with Jennifer Lopez hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

I was so mad at Phenomenon album. That album is very gay. 4,3,2,1 song with Redman, Method Man, Canibus, DMX is the only good song on that album.

I haven't even heard his last 4 albums. But I am sure they are soft. The audience he's catering to now is different. LL is far from the rapper he was back in the day. I liked Radio, Bigger and Deffer, Walking With a Panther, and Mama Said Knock You Out.

You should check out his 14 Shots To The Dome, Mr Smith, The G.O.A.T. albums. Those are good also. If i was LL, i would've never changed my style of rap. He should've made his last 4 albums hardcore like his earlier albums. I hate it when rappers change their style to get new fans and sell records. Why does the music business always have to be about selling records? Whatever happened to rappers just continuing to do good music? There's some good rappers from the old school who are still around doing albums but most of them have changed their style just like LL and that's why their albums suck. Ice Cube, Nas, Too Short are some of the few that are doing exactly like what LL is doing and that's sad.
