Default Question for Pepsi and Mountain Dew Drinkers

Why is it when buy a 2 liter Pepsi or Mountain Dew once it gets below the HALFWAY POINT, the taste becomes EWWW!!-lol

Why is it always over after the midway point of the 2 Liter? I have never finished the last drop of a 2 Liter Pepsi or Mountain dew because the Taste changes way before that.

Cool

I find that Pepsi taste best at full carbonation. By the time I get halfway through a 2 liter I find the carbonation is starting to fade a little and the taste isn't as good. That is why I usually buy Pepsi in cans or occasionally in 591 ml. bottles.

When I've had Pepsi or Mountain Dew I've found that it tastes pretty much the same throughout the entire bottle. I drink Pepsi more than Mountain Dew as it's not sold in England, but I drink MD whenever I'm in the US.

I don't drink the 2 liter bottles just the 20 oz or the cans of diet pepsi but I have noticed when it gets warm, it's gross. LOL

When a 2 liter is down to half, Squeeze the bottle, put the lid back on tight then put it back in the fridge. This will usually prevent the rest of the soda from going flat.

It doesn't matter what size the bottle is, most bottled sodas end up going flat half way through the bottle, that's why you have to drink them so quick.
I prefer cans because they keep the soda cold for a longer period of time and I'm glad that they're slowly going back to being the popular beverage holder of choice when I go to pick one up at gas stations and such. Besides, 1 liter cans of soda are 99 cents at the moment.

That's why I get my sodas in cans instead of 2 liters. The 2 liters sodas get flat too fast for me.

I do that, put the top on tight and put it back in the fridge but it still loses something once it gets beyond the midway point
