If you're a fan of Mad magazine--or just someone who loves really funny satire--you might want to check out the 1999 book Mad About TV. It contains some pretty good spoofs of such popular shows as:

Batman, Star Trek, All in the Family, Gentle Ben, Columbo, Happy Days,
A-Team, Gilligan's Island, Honeymooners, Newhart, Highway to Heaven, I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith Show, Baywatch, Frasier, X-Files, Ally McBeal, Everybody Loves Raymond, and many, many others. It's out-of-print
but worth searching for on eBay or at used bookstores, flea markets, etc.

I loved reading Mad magazine (along with Cracked). Was the I Love Lucy parody from the 50s or 80s? I know Mad never did a Leave It To Beaver in the 50s/60s but did do one in the 80s, or was it Cracked? hmmm

The Lucy parody, titled "I Love Luny," was from Mad #269 (so
that would be the '80s).

I read Mad Magazine every month for about 15 years. One of the highlights was seeing what movies and TV shows they would parody. It was great seeing your favorite show get skewered by "the usual gang of idiots."

I particularly loved the caricatures in the parodies. Mort Drucker typically did the movies and Angelo Torres the TV shows, although occasionally they'd switch.

I remember Mort Drucker did the Dallas parody -- it was great seeing Larry Hagman's J.R. sent up the typical Mad fashion.

Speaking of Mad's artists, one of my favorite Mad artists was also
one of my two favorite TV Guide artists: Jack Davis (that's one of his
covers in your avatar).

But of course. Mad had several great artists. Jack Davis I believe, pinch-hitted and did a TV or movie parody here and there as well, but Drucker and Torres were the two primary artists for those when I read it.
