Eek Director Disses 'Twilight' Film, Oh Yeah, He is Directing one of its Sequels!
Although officially on board to direct Eclipse, the third installment in the Twilight saga, David Slade doesn't mince words about his distaste for the original. First leaked out on his now-deleted Twitter account, word of his contempt for Twilight has begun to stir up some hostility among fans of the franchise. And now /Film has captured some choice comments he made, apparently a while back, to a radio show in Washington. Responding to a suggestion that he go out to see Twilight, he says:

Twilight drunk? No, not even drunk. Twilight on acid? No, not even on acid. Twilight at gunpoint? Just shoot me.

What about directing a sequel? Well okay, yes apparently. Hmm. Looks like Slade has some serious work cut out for himself repairing relations with the Twilight fan base.
