Default Wreckless, Theo Ratliff said-"76ers Coaches are too soft"

He went off last night after the game on channel 10-lol. Some of his statements below

"The coaches are responsible for guys being prepared and playing."

"The coaches here don't hold guys accountable and it's been that way all year"

"As a coach you have to step up and get in guys face"

"If you have a coaching position you have to be able to identify mistakes"

LOL. So I guess he figured he wasn't coming back and can just let loose on how he really feels.

I think he needs a respect level before anything is being said, for the coaching staff & for Dileo. I don't disagree with him, and this is the right time to let loose your feelings on players, coaches & the season in general- rather then in a game. The seasons over, he responds to what he feels about the team- that's fine. I just wish they all played better or the coaches & players are on the same level as well. I don't hate Theo for this. Then again, he is a backup as well.

He is a free agent anyway like andre miller. Media has been killing the 76ers all day, even the national mediafor playing like they didn't care.

A reporter asked Dileo did he remind his team that Game 6 can be a TRAP game since it will be no howard
and he said-"NO"

LOL

I really like Dileo. Every coach has their flaws- even the best, Phil Jackson, Jerry Sloan etc. He is a really good players coach, but needs to work on properly preparing his team, to be ready to be aggressive in games & to win as many games as possible. That can be worked with and worked on though- it's just an attitude coaches have or that other coaches like DiLeo need to add into their game or on. He took 'em to the playoffs, yet they were a 6th seed, with a 41-41 record in a dismal Eastern Conf. this year. Yet they were missing possibly their best player & a talent in Elton Brand for 2/3s of the season. If you factor all that in, I think he should come back. They need to sign Miller. He is the heart and soul of the 76ers, but they need to go out and sign a shooter & elevate the play of their bench players. Lou Williams is a young kid but he needs to improve. He averages 11 points off the bench, which is fantastic- but he's not a household bench player or name like Ginobili or Leandrino Barbosa. Reggie & Theo are simillar players, but one is a little bit older. So dump Theo. It will definitely be an interesting off-season for them, but I have complete and utter faith in our GM and his game plan.

They better offer Andre Miller something SEXY because if he leaves that will be it. The 76ers would only have 26 wins this season if he wasn't on the team

I couldn't agree with you more- and that sounds about right lol. So I hope they do, and I think they will. Stefanski is a smart guy. I still wanna see them pickup a shooter- a Ben Gordon type guy, in the off-season.

If i was Philly's GM, i would keep Theo Ratliff and let Reggie Evans go because Reggie sucks. What's up with that beard of his? LOL. He needs to shave that. Theo is still a good shot blocker and rebounder. I wish he could score more because he has a decent jumpshot. He was raw early in his career when he started out with Detroit. I don't understand why Maurice Cheeks was fired when he was Philly's coach. He's a better coach than Tony Dileo. I can't believe Philly got their asses kicked that bad at home in the last game against Orlando without Dwight Howard. Andre Igoudala needs to score a lot more because he's very athletic. He should be averaging more points than he does. Philly should keep Andre Miller.

Can you believe Reggie Evans is only 28? That beard is what makes him looks 39
