At this point, we are in the second day passed the fifty-first birthday of Eve Plumb. For those of you who do not know, she played Jan on the "Brady Bunch". Is anyone here a fan of that sereis? In any case, after doing the math, I have figured out that Eve is three years older than this show's Lea Thompson! Those of you who have read my previous posts know about a tradition that I have started whenever a babe that I admire has a birthday past forty. I go to a bunch of other pages and bring to the top threads about other older women from those respective shows. However, because no one has responded to my threads about older chicks on this page, I am starting a new one just for Eve! After wishing her a happy birthday on the "Brady Bunch" page of this site, I also brought up two other threads regarding ladies who were getting on in years on that page. I then went on and brought threads to the tops of the pages of the Facts of Life, Gimme a Break!, and Will and Grace. Another show's page that I have posted similar messages but that no one has responded is "Mad About You". Because of this, I started a new one on that page called "Happy Birthday to Eve". The last time I checked, none of these threads had any responses. Maybe things will be different this time around!

Once again, I am very happy that someone felt that one of my threads was worthy of a response! As a result of my sleep disorder, this is my first time getting on line today. So far, this is only the second page of this site that I have visited. It will be interesting to see if any of my threads on other pages have responses. While I am here, I would like to share with you guys who my favorite older babe of all-times is. This would be Hazel Shermet! Now there is an attractive older woman!

We should all get along fine Smartboy! The past few months, I haven't been able to sleep most nights, although I'm better than I was this week. Janice - the poster above yours, also is up often during the night. You'll have some good company!
![]() I noticed on another board that you mentioned you have a learning disability. You wouldn't know it! Your writing skills, spelling and grammar are excellent. I feel for you on your skin conditions. I had a bad one a few years ago so I understand how bad they can get at times. Glad to be getting to know you a bit better. I've enjoyed your posts. You certainly notice details that I would never notice - like boots, purses, and such. I think that's neat. ![]() I haven't seen Caroline In The City in a few years. I wonder why they don't carry it in repeats much? |

I would really like to thank you for all of the support that you have given me! Because of how much interest in my situation you have expressed, I would like to share with you a poetic paragraph that I wrote when I was only seventeen. This was long before "Caroline in the City" was even concieved of, I was diagnosed with psoriasis or the world had figured out what a sleep disorder was! In any event, here goes: "'The Frisco Kid' is the best movie I ever saw and the best book I ever read. I am not sure whether I have more in common with Avram or Tommy. I do not know whether I would do better as a big-hearted outlaw or a kosher cowboy. I do know that the amount of struggling I have experienced is like the nineteen eighties equivelent of the robbers, the possie and even the Indian! I feel confident that, someday, I will eventually reach the beautiful Pacific. I am sure that when I reach life's Pacific, I will take one look at the sun setting on the infinate ocean and say to myself 'this is worth an ounce of gold, a pound of gold, a ton of gold!'. I will then take a second look and say, 'that is because it exists, those other things do not'"! What do you think of that one? |

Bringing this thread to the top of the page is really just a shot in the dark in terms of what might stimulate some conversation about this fine series! |
