MOONLIGHT: This Series Ended Too Soon

I have been watching the DVD Moonlight: The Complete Series. As a
fan of the show from day one, all I can say is this series ended way too soon,
after only 16 episodes. I would like to have seen it last at least as long as
Ron Koslow's earlier cult favorite, Beauty and the Beast (which ran for
three seasons). Alex O'Loughlin and Sophia Myles were both darn good actors, and Mick St. John and Beth Turner had that same great chemistry as
Vincent (Ron Perlman) and Catherine Chandler (Linda Hamilton). But the timing
was off. This year it seems that vampire movies are all the rage. Had the
show debuted in the fall of 2008 (instead of 2007), it might have turned out
differently. That's my opinion, anyway. I don't suppose there is any chance
of the character being (pardon the pun) resurrected.

I also liked the show. It was great and had the potential to be a long running series. I don't have the DVD's but I watch the reruns on Sci-Fi.
