My opinion only American Life should stick to the 50's and 60's TV shows and drop everything else.

Hey Pavan, when you do write-ups like this for the blog, could you also post the schedule in list form on the message boards?

Thanls.

I plan on watching some of the Newhart block from 5-7pm weekdays!

Well, that sucks.

If they want to do a regular schedule for everyday, they really need to start thinking about dumping some of that lifestyle stuff.

I'm trying to stay away from doing this now. There are some sites out there that post the full schedules without linking back to us (copy/paste is disabled on the blog). I have no problem for other sites to post them, just credit us with a link instead of claiming it their own. Readers out there notice and tell me they are reproducing our schedules, though.

AmericanLife has been bought by another company. More info on that will be announced. Not sure how this will affect them yet, but hopefully it is for the good.

Anyway, here is the full schedule (classic TV portion):

Considering how long AL has been on the air (from Nostalgia, Goodlife, to American Life), I wouldn't say they headed down the same road as TVL.

I'm curious that someone else has bought out AL..maybe they can get the network on more cable systems and on satellite. That is really the thing that has hampered AL's growth.

They are headed down the same bad TVLand is because American Life is showing quite a few 80's show. That was beginning of the end for TVLand

AmericanLife/Goodlife has been airing shows from the 80s since the beginning of this decade, so no.

Actually, it's been a money-loser for years according to Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AmericanLife_TV

If only TV Land was like that again. More 80's would be welcome anywhere at anytime. There's always just the usual select few 80's shows that TV always airs. More variety would be nice, and less of the same older shows that always get air that I've seen 100 million times.

I do not like this new lineup. IMO it sucks! Yeah it is nice having the shows on daily but come on, they cut 18 shows to do this! Now you only have 6 & that is gonna get boring after time. I see no point in repeating the shows. If they did not do this, they would have more room to add more shows.

I just got this channel May 1st & was so happy to have it for the main reason they aired Batman & Trapper John M.D. Now they are gone & who knows if they will ever be back.

They could have done this daily lineup alot better then what they did.
