This news does not surprise me. 'iCarly' is much more in touch with kids. Hannah Montana has become way too preachy, imo. Which is silly considering all the 'news' we hear about its star.

Yeah, but TV shows on Nickelodeon, tend to be a little more daring than your average kiddie-fare. I think this is what lead to it's wider appeal. I've often read blogs by Dan Schneider claiming that he doesn't want any of his shows to be preachy, and iCarly is no exception.
