Default Least favorite episode

Everyone talks about their favorite episodes, how about least favorite?

I didn't like the episode where Sophia is looking for a date in the classifieds and ends up that it is this couple that wants Sophia to take the wife's place because she is dying. The storyline was stupid and the actor playing Marvin (the husband) was a poor choice. He acted like he was mentally impaired. The whole thing just stunk! It is also the same episode where Ken Berry played Rose's former boyfriend that she couldn't remember.

For some reason that episode is one I finally extremely annoying and don't enjoy seeing it come up in the reruns. The only other episode I dont' really care for is when they do the Chicken Little play. I thought that was all silly.

That's easy, the one where Blanche's overweight daughter comes to visit. As somebody who used to have a weight problem and have also heard all the fat jokes, I can't bear to watch this ep anymore.

^I didn't like that episode either. I didn't like the episode where Rose dated the little person or the episode where Blanche got a pacemaker.

I didn't like the 'Nice & Easy' episode with Blanche's niece. She comes to Miami to take an exam and dates several men in the meantime.

While I don't mind watching it, I did think the 2 part episode with the hurricane was overly silly. First off the actress that played Gloria was totally wrong and having her sleep with Stan was stupid. Then you have Sophia acting like a country bumpkin saying "There's a hurricane a comin'" which was another example of how they were writing Sophia in a stupid silly kind of way--not like her spunky quick wit of the early years. Stan and the monkey on a traffic cone was beyond stupid.

I agree - the hurricane episode was rather stupid. It seemed like the writers ran out of ideas and came up with this. Ecchhh!

The other one I never liked was when they participated in the dance marathon. Probably because you could easily see that it was not the actual actresses doing the 'stunt dancing' but other women in wigs (the Betty White one was awful).

My least favorite episode is Empty Nest, simply because the "girls" were not in this episode, except for the beginning. This was the original pilot for Empty Nest with a different cast.

I too didn't care for the hurricane episodes, I was very tired of looking at that stupid monkey and Sofia's shirt...

I can't imagine if they had done Empty Nest with that cast. Basically it would have been about a wife whining all the time because she was home alone and while her doctor husband was working. I'm glad they retooled it with a different cast.

One of the ones I watched last night where Dorothy's son married the older black woman. It just seemed dumb, and not very funny at all.

I disagree, I loved that episode w/ Dorothy's son and the older black woman. I thought it was hilarious. But I guess that relationship didn't work, never heard anything else about it.

The part where the ladies were all around the kitchen table was hilarious especially when someone asked ...is it true what they say about black men, and Blanche piped up and said oh, yes!, or something like that.

I just saw that episode the other day. I thought it was a cute episode. The only episode I did not like was the Empty Nest episode. Thank God they changed it before Empty Nest came on the air.
