My boyfriend is a medium and I want to learn to be one as well. I've been interested in becoming one for a while but I want to get a move on and start developing my abilities. In the meantime, I attend a Spiritualist Church where they invite mediums each week to deliver messages from spirits.

How come it seems like Ghosts only come around when it is dark/night time??
If I was a spirit I would be scaring people all the time ;-) hahaha

I have heard stories from friends and family but I feel like I would have to see something myself to believe. Im not in any hurry to see anything though.

absolutely. no other explanation for some things, and i'm very slow to blame things on the paranormal.

Definitely. We live in my great-grandparents house. When my daughter was about 3 she was playing and talking to someone in her room. I go in her room to see who she is talking to, I see no one. So I ask her who she is talking to she says her grandma with the same name as her. My great grandma died in 1993, and my daughter is named after her.

I believe in spirits. As a Catholic, how can I not? As far as ghosts go, as Fox Mulder would say on The X-Files, "I want to believe".

A ghost is the disembodied soul of a dead person or animal.

Spirits refer to any incorporeal being, as opposed to matter (something not a physical being).

So ghosts are a type of a spirit; they have come from something that was once living.

Think also from Native American tales; they had the spirit of fire, water, land.. pretty much everything.

I'm not really sure. I have not had any experiances with them. A couple of years ago I went to Hollywood and visited allegded places that were suppose to be haunted but, didn't see or hear anything.
