well it looks like the first pick has already been made Sol...

According to reports from Fox Sports and NFL.com, the Detroit Lions had come to terms with UGA QB Matthew Stafford, which would have Stafford signing with the Lions and becoming the number one overall draft pick in this weekend's NFL Draft.

Yeah they almost have to make that pick and then start picking OL and then receivers. How come no GM ever researches how a franchise became what they are? Like how come the lions can research how the eagles built their team into a winner? Nobody at the Lions organization gets a paycheck to do that?

I think it is a safe pick by the Lions. I was never really impressed by Stafford in college.

Is the draft starting later? I told a poster on this Sports board the draft starts at 1pm EST. But now I'm hearing it's 4pm EST.

What time does it start? Why is it starting later?

It starts at 4pm ET. It looks like the networks will air alot of pre-draft coverage though. I'd rather them just start the draft early. The Cowboys won't even have a pick until around 11 tonight.

Hello everyone.... I am back from my winter hibernation LOL

ITS DRAFT DAY BABY... THe day where my team infuriates me year after year..... How will they do it this year???? I want them to take either morneo or pettigrew.... I will be infuriated if they take a defensive linemen like I am hearing they may do....
