Are they really better than Microsoft PC's? I'm thinking of buying myself one if they're worth it.

I am also considering buying a Macbook too. I'm hoping to get info from Mac owners too.

most Mac owners swear by them, but there really isn't that much difference in the hardware, its just a different operating system (which does have its own merits) and different software , with a higher price tag.

do some comparison shopping, then go to an Apple store and actually spend some time playing with one, if you like it and it fits your budget then go for it!

(most people that know me mistakenly assume that I am against Macs, this is not true; I'm just cheap and I prefer to build my own computers.)

I just recently bought my own Macbook (the white $1000 basic model), and am loving it so far. To uninstall ****... You just drag the file to the trash can on the dock. Easy.

It's actually stupidly easy to use a Mac once you get used to the Command key (in place of Alt on Windows keyboards).

I'm damn glad I splurged on one & got AppleCare.
