Name TV shows that becamce more popular after they went into syndication.
Reba-Got around 4 Million viewers a week but that was great for the WB(The network it aired on) it was there Top Rated Show, had it been NBC, ABS or CBS it would have been cancelled. Not alot of people knew she had a sitcom or notice or they ignored the show but when it reached syndication everybody fell in love with it and that the help DVD Sales. The Fresh Prince |

I agree with the OP on Reba. One of my friends loved the show when it started airing on Lifetime. I kind of Family Guy is one of those shows my sister got into the show one time when she saw a rerun on TBS.

I think George Lopez also fits this description--more people are discovering it now, then when it originally ran on ABC.

WKRP - definitely got more popular in syndication, as it was never a break-out for CBS, with all the schedule shuffling it endured during the 4 years it aired.
Probably NewsRadio, too, for the same reasons as WKRP. |

Barney Miller seemed to become a major hit in syndication after it ended its network run in the spring of 1982.

I think The Fresh Prince was popular from the start, and from it's original run....
it seems Happy Days, popular during it's 11 year run, has gotten even more popular in the 20 years since....which im glad |

i think it was only popular the first couple of years, because NBC was going to cancel the show in 1993 but they decided to give it another shot |
