Default BREAKING NBA NEWS THAT SOME OF YOU MAY LIKE OR MAY NOT LIKE

ESPN has let Steven a Smith go and decided not to renew his contract. ESPN wanted Smith to take a paycut but he didn't want to and now his last day will be May 1st.

Damm, I was a Steven A fan

Steven A. Smith was being used less and less. I can't say this is shocking news at all.

No he quit working for them 3 years ago when he was demoted to working as a general assignment reporter instead of having a daily coulumn

Wow, Smith has hit hard times. He no longer works for a news paper, his tv show got cancelled, he quit his radio show and now ESPN lets him walk.

I would love if he replaced Charles Barkley on TNT

I doubt that, Charles Barkley is the king over at TNT.

This isn't breaking news. Nobody likes Steven A. Smith. I never liked this ignorant fool. He had to have the A. in the middle of his name, like he was somebody so important. I'm glad ESPN gave this guy the door, and shut it fast. I won't miss him at all. He was controversial and mouthy, with his sports remarks constantly and I'm glad Philadelphia Inquirer gave him the boot a long time ago, when it was needed. He's not a Philly guy, he's from New York anyway.

You are smoking dope. When Barkley speaks, something meaningful comes out of his mouth. When Steven A. Smith speaks, hot air comes out of his. Plus, if that change ever happened, it would be an outcry in the TNT studios.

Yeah, some new york newspaper will give him a job probably, sooner or later but I don't respect the guy. I have choice words on what he thinks about Philly and Philly sports. If he was classy but I didn't like him, I would feel sorry for him losing his job, but I don't whatsoever so bye bye. All things must come to an end sometime.

Barkley stuuters too much and slows the show down when trying to make a point
