When I was 9 or 10 I remember seeing Halloween on USA one night when I was staying at my uncle's house. It really didn't scare me. Do you remember the first horror move you saw?

Probably the original B&W version of Frankenstein.

I think it was the original Boris Karloff version of "FRANKENSTIEN" when I was growing up, back in the 60s.

I've been watching horror movies literally my entire life. My mom watched Stephen King movies religiously - I watched "It" and "Pet Semetary" the way some kids watched "Sesame Street."
![]() The first movie I remember watching all the way through was "The Shining." Scared the heck out of me - I must have been about 6 or 7 (far too young to see it!) But I loved it. What's weird is I kind of watch horror movies as a bit of nostalgia, to remember my childhood ![]()

It was probably the Exorcist when it ran on TV in the 1970's.

I don't remember the exact first, but one of the first was Polteurgeist. UGH I am scarred to this day. I've never seen a more terrifying movie since.

I haven't seen many scary movies, just the Scream trilogy I think. I watched them in reverse order, so Scream 3 was the first horror movie I saw. I was probably about 9 when I saw it.

For me it was Beyond The Door, it would have been the Exorcist but, I was too scared to go see it, LOL.
