Brady Bunch - unseen pilot clip on YouTube - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was looking at Brady Bunch Hour clips and across this gem.

It has a different version of the opening and closing song and an alternative scene with Carol and girls. In The Brady Girls Get Married there is scene where we see the girls siting on a double bed together and yet this was never seen in any episode. Now I know why. It was dropped from the pilot and re-filmed.

Apologies if this is old news to you guys but for me it is brand new!!!

This is a great find! Thanks for posting it. The theme song change is interesting, and I also noticed that Carol's hairdo is different in her scene from the scene that aired, and as someone posted to the YouTube page noticed, the girls were in dresses rather than PJs here. I noticed something in the fight going up the stairs that would likely have been distressing to Cindy if she'd noticed: Kitty-Carryall takes a fall over the backs of the kids onto the floor below them! I never noticed if this happened in the pilot as it aired, but I certainly noticed it here!

I've seen the brady bunch alternative opening it's cool. I haven't seen the clip of The Brady Girls Get Married yet.

Darn! I wish I saw this before it was pulled!

By the way something else thats missing from the pilot on the dvd release is the scene where Bobby puts the picture of his (biological) mother in the drawer because his dad was getting remarried, until Mike convinces him he shouldn't.

Did we actually see Bobby hide it? I thought we just had the scene in which Mike noticed it was gone.

I don't know if we see him put it in the drawer, but we see him pull it out of the drawer, and set it back up, and we see the picture. I wonder who the woman is in the picture, and if this woman has any say of her image portrayed in the scene.

There's another book coming? I just got an e-mail from Amazon yesterday telling me they had shipped Susan's book to me. I'd better read fast so I'll be ready to move on to the Schwartz's book when it comes out!

'BRADY, BRADY, BRADY', the title of a new book coming this Fall, written by Sherwood and Lloyd Schwartz. Lloyd Schwartz tells Brady World the book will contain, "a lot of information that no one has ever heard". (Many more details to come in the near future).

I have (jokingly) said that it was a sample photo sold with the frame.

Seriously though, my pet theory is that it was a random picture they got from the prop department and nobody knew at the time who she was. If that's the case, then it is pretty unlikely we'll ever know who she was!
