I've seen interviews/heard commentaries on the Dukes DVDs and she seems like such a sweetie. Who cares about her weight, TMZ??

She's still VERY attractive in my opinion.

Just kills me how the media loves to compare female's pictures from what they look like now to 30 years ago. You never see them do that with guys!!!

Especially if they're no longer in front of the cameras - why should they be expected to still have their "camera ready" looks?

Let's see pictures of guys now - 30 years ago to what they look like now.

I agree. She's not 25 anymore, people age. And like you said, she's not exactly acting anymore so it shouldn't really matter.

EXACTLY!! She's also pumping gas, paparazzi vultures, she's not on her way to an awards show, so of course she's not going to look all glamourous here. Catherine Bach is still a very pretty lady, and I have a feeling that somewhere out there, Enos is still as much in love with her as he ever was.

People age. The fact that we seem to obsess with it and denigrate what is, after all, a perfectly natural process that we ALL are going through, is evidence of how deeply ill our society is on this issue.

Anyone who expects people to look 25 when they are 55 is insane, and anyone who can't expand their definition of "beauty" to incorporate different ages, weights and races is immature and worthy of my scorn.

Bach looks great to me.

Yeah it is ridiculous to even compare a pic from 30 years ago to now, give me a break. This is when I think celebs have every reason to despise the media/paparazzi. I understand when at a red carpet affair to have them around but when they are shopping or with family at the beach etcetc, its a shame they have to worry about having pix taken. I really dont give a damn what Julia Roberts bought at the market but I love seeing her at premiers or gala's etal.

And although not as often, yes they do show the guys in the same vein as the ladies. Again not as often but they sure do it. Just recently they did one where they did some beach shots of Clint Eastwood, Richard Gere, Jack Nicholson, Hugh Grant among others, with before and after shots. I mean my god, Clint is in his 70s!! Of course hes not going to look like Dirty Harry days anymore, I dont understand the point of those pix, just like this of Catherine. For being in his 70s I think Clint looks great. And 9 out of 10 times the scum photogs are hidden away and catch the celebs offguard so duhhh, yeah they probably arent posing and worrying about what they look like--they are just trying to have a good time at the beach
