The GSN Game Show Awards will air on June 6th, 2009, at 8pm Eastern. The categories run the gamut from the usual suspects, to silly and fun. Viewers will have the chance to vote on a few of these categories by going to GSN.com, where you can also enter to win tickets to the event. Some of the categories are, admittedly, on the lame side. "Favorite Prize," for example, just doesn't do it for me. On the other hand, the sound effect and theme song categories are terrific.
