Cool

I'm very embarrassed to have to admit this to you Mickey, but I forgot to get you a card for record store day. Oh well, maybe next year!

Its back again.

Record Store Day 2010, this Saturday. What this is is independent record stores across the country have huge sales. If you are a music freak then this is for you.

I'm doing it again this year, found Animals by Pink Floyd last year, so here's hoping it all goes good again.

I just got today two copies in advance of the very limited 7000 copies pressed of the "John Lennon Singles Bag".....comes with 3 vinyl singles, postcards, poster and old fashioned record hub dated 4/17/10.....very cool.....

I am desperately trying to find the UK only release of the beatles "Paperback Writer/Rain" single being issued on the same day...I have emailed record shops in London, but so far no luck....so if anyone can help....as the fabs would say HELP!

Record Day is such a cool idea but from all the local record shops I have spoken with, it seems the origanizers need to get their act together, it is a very unorganized event. Many shops complain about getting product months after event day or none at all.

if you can help with my UK Paperback Writer 7 inch 45 quest...email direct to:
TEEVEECLOSET@AOL.COM

and cheers!

I missed out last year. I was busy getting married on April 17, 2010!

There was a mini-Record Store Day of sorts in November, though. The highlight was the 40th anniversary edition of George Harrison's All Things Must Pass on 180g vinyl and 24/96 digital. It was a great release!
