I am posting this because I woke up this morning after having a pretty vivid dream about a UM case...the Kurt Sova case actually. It was strange and I hadn't even watched this case in quite some time. Anyways, it was a dream where I was actually in his neighborhood and saw his house after the fact, and his mom was there talking with us. Sometimes I wonder if it's more than a dream or if it happens for a reason? Anyways, you wake up feeling helpless because you want to solve the case but there really is much you can do.
Anyways, I guess the point of this is to see if anyone else has had dreams about certain cases or if I'm just crazy? |

I have on occasion had dreams about cases...it usually happens when I have been watching the DVD sets. I tend to dream about the unsolved murder cases. In them I am usually attempting to solve them. The one I dream about the most is the murder of Bryan Nisenfeld (in case you can't tell by my avatar.) In the dream I always discover that the school officials know more than they are saying...but I never find out what they know. But there appears to be a homophobic reaction to the school officials and police involved. But One thing I do see in the dream...is his murder. It's dark and there is the bridge...Bryan is thrown over with brick or cement connected to his leg. He was unconscious at the time he was thrown in but he awakens after in the water. He then drowns. Weeks later the current pulls his body down stream but leaved his foot in the shoe and his leg bone. In the dream...the rest of his bones were found...but he was not identified 'cuz it was so far down he river. Then I'll wake up.

Seriously, I have heard that it is not a unique phenomenon for investigators to dream about cases. I think I remember hearing that Dave Toschi the investigator of the Zodiac murders dreamt and reviewed the case in his dreams on more than one occasion. I personally have had dreams about the Jon Benet Ramsey case. I actually dreamt I was an out of body observer of events in the house. In the dream, the thing I remember vividly was Patsy Ramsey saying "It happend, it finally happened, what I am gonna do? Jesus please!." And Jon Ramsey was shaking his wife violently trying to get control of her. I also remember in that dream a figure in all black with a gun watching Jon Ramsey control his wife. This figure held a gun to them and threatened to kill them both. The last thing I remember was this guy writing the Ransom note in front of both of them and just demanding that they sign the note. This dream was nothing compared to the Jim Jones dream I had when I watched the "In Search of " episode on him. |

No, you're not crazy. I remember a while back watching the Wendy Camp segment shortly before bed and then dreaming about it. I'm sure there are other times I've dreamed about UM cases and have just forgotten. Nice to see there are others that do as well.
