Default What TV Family is Most Like Your Own?

(I apologize in advance if anyone has already started a similar thread).

For me, it's the Bunkers. Like Archie, Edith, Mike and Gloria, my family was imperfect, flawed, often argumentative but undeniably real with honest and unquestioned love, and a mother with a heart of pure gold holding it all together.

The Barones from Everybody Loves Raymond. I've always identified with Robert as I am the oldest kid, tall and somewhat in the shadow of my younger sister. My mom can also give Deb Barone a run for her money when she gets mad.

My family was sort like a combination of The Connors from Roseanne and The Bunkers from All In The Family.

I think the TV parents, who are most like my parents, are Red and Kitty from "That 70s show". But I can't say which family is most like mine. But my parents had a friend, who was like a Swedish version of Roseanne Connor.

Probably the Matthews family from Boy Meets World. Two happily married parents and siblings who love each other but aren't as strongly close as they could be.

Mine I'd say were like The Bunkers....I remember my Dad walking through the door and my Mom running to meet him with a kiss then she'd take his hat and lunch pale. Plus they too were in their early and mid 50's at the time.

I'd say that probably The Seaver's from Growing Pains. We had parents that had a strong moral foundation, provided very well for us and wanted us to do the best we could. My siblings and I used to fight like the Seaver kids, but would be there for one another in a heartbeat.
