Why are the baseball gods always watching me??-LOL - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I had said I would not pay attention to what the Phillies did this year and they started the season 0-2. So today they played the braves for the 3rd time and I checked the score and showed interest in the game and the Braves were up 10-3 in the 4th inning.

So I keep monitoring the score from time to time and I was watching PTI on ESPN and saw that someone hit a grand slam and the Phillies were down 10-6. Then as I kept watching the Sports Ticker I see the Phillies were down 10-8. Then 10-9. Now they are up 11-10 in the 8th inning and actually scored 8 runs in the 7th inning. I guess that's what I get for showing slight interest in what the Phillies were doing. But this is it, I learned today to just stay away from what they are doing because they are known for doing sh*t like this, especilly at home. I bet if I had not checked the score today They would have lost 13-5-lol

That's just a way of covering up the fact that Atlanta's bullpen stinks.

Well I didn't know about the Braves Bullpen but I know now. Pathetic, And I actually laughed when I was watching the local news and it was 9-3 and the anchor said-"hopefully the phillies will come back"

I was like-"YEAH RIGHT"-lol

No grand slams were hit...we scored 8 in the 7th inning...it was a great game, but it's only 3 games into the season though.

Don't be discouraged by Philly's slow start- last year, the Phillies didn't set the world on fire in April.

May will be the pivotal month- IMO, what got the Phillies on a roll was when they bludgeoned Toronto, Colorado and Florida in mid-May-mid-June.

Besides, fast starts don't mean you'll win it all- through last May, baseball's best team was the Diamondbacks, and they didn't make the playoffs.

And Solomon, even if somebody had hit a grand slam, which never happened, if the score was 10-3, it would then be 10-7 Lol...

see, when somebody hits a grand slam, 4 runners score, not 3....
