Best answer to a stupid question

"What do you feel... when you shoot a Terrorist?"

The Marine shrugged and replied,
"A slight recoil."

I don't understand the answer.

I don't think it was a stupid question though because I've heard that most of our troops are having problems with what they did as to mental problems.

same here. i don't see what was stupid about the question. it was an interview. questions like "how did you feel about this happening" are just supposed to prompt elaborations about experiences.
