Default What are your Surprising Syndication Moments?

What did you watch in syndication that surprised the hell out of you? For example, I was surprised when I

saw that the Jeffersons came from All in the Family

Mork from Ork came from Happy Days

Founding out that Three's Company had TAG SCENES once the show was aired on N@N

I was surprised by Reba when I watched on Lifetime. I never watched it on the CW or WB. I was surprised how good it was and how Reba was an actress.

I was also surprised to find out King of Queens came from Everybody Loves Raymond

I was surprised when I found out that Doug and Carrie from "THE KING OF QUEENS" guest-starred on "EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND" a couple times when "THE KING OF QUEENS" first started. (and Frank and Robert were also in one episode).
I was suprised to see that there was an episode of "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES" that showed how all that happened to them. (of course, I didn't know until I got the DVD that the sydnicated version is very heavaly edited)

So Doug and Carrie guest starred AFTER KOQ already was off the ground?

Kevin James appeard on ELR first a few times but NOT as Doug. He was a different character. KoQ is not an ELR spinoff.

Ok I just read Kevin James was writer for ELR in addition to playing a different character and the shows just crossed over. And you are right, defintely wasn't a spinoff

I was thrown by how much longer the "Three's Company" theme song was on Nick at Nite than on TBS.

I was surprised to see Kevin James as Doug Heffernan on "Cosby." I watched "Cosby" on and off during its original run.

I was alittle shocked at the episode of "Laverne & Shirley" where Laverne wakes up wearing boxer shorts and thinks she's pregnant. Wow, just wow. I remember watching "Laverne & Shirley" when I was a kid, but I didn't remember that.

Yeah after watching three's company on my local stations for so many years, I was so surprised to see the extended opening on N@N and the Tag scenes. Local stations did not air tag scenes of Three's company
